Privacy Policy

Effective May 7, 2026

Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information Alias Summit LLC ("Alias Summit," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use Orderly, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

Our guiding principles are simple: we collect only what we need to run the Service, we treat your data as private, we never sell it, and we never share it with advertisers.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), and optional profile photo.

Your content. Orderly handles the tasks, subtasks, tags, projects, notes, schedules, focus-session records, settings, and any other content you create in the app. Supported iOS content is synchronized through Supabase; web task and project workspace data remains only in the current browser.

Device and usage information. To keep the Service working reliably we collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and crash and diagnostic logs. We may also record events like the time of a sync, so we can troubleshoot issues.

Optional integrations. If you choose to enable an integration (for example, Apple Music for focus sessions), we receive only the information needed for that feature to work. If you disable the integration, we stop receiving that information.

Communications. If you contact us for support, send feedback, or submit a feature request, we keep a record of the conversation so we can help you and improve the product.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the Service; synchronize supported native-app data; deliver notifications and reminders you have asked for; secure your account and detect abuse; respond to your support requests; understand which features are working and which are not, so we can improve Orderly; comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your content to train third-party advertising models, and we do not profile you for advertising purposes.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Locally on your device. The iOS app keeps an account-scoped copy of supported tasks and settings in a private SwiftData store. The web app currently saves its task and project workspace only in the browser and scopes that browser data to the signed-in account.

On our servers. Supported iOS data is synchronized to our hosted Supabase database and protected by row-level security. Web task and project workspace data is not currently uploaded to Supabase and does not synchronize to another browser or the iOS app.

Service backups may retain server data according to our infrastructure provider's configured backup lifecycle. Orderly does not promise a specific backup-retention period in the app.

4. Service Providers

To run Orderly we rely on a short list of trusted service providers, including: a database and authentication provider (Supabase) that hosts your account and synced content; platform infrastructure for app distribution and push notifications (Apple Push Notification service for iOS, and a hosting provider for the web app); diagnostic and crash-reporting services that help us identify bugs.

Each of these providers acts as a processor on our behalf. They are contractually required to keep your data confidential, to use it only to deliver services to us, and to apply security safeguards consistent with our own. We review them carefully before granting access and re-evaluate that access over time.

5. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers.

We do not read your tasks, notes, or other private content for marketing purposes.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

6. Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information when we have a good-faith belief that it is required to comply with a valid legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Alias Summit, our users, or the public, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy).

Where lawful, we will let you know about a request for your information before responding.

7. Security

We protect your information using a layered approach: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, hashed passwords, row-level access controls, least-privilege access for our team, and regular review of our systems and providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to maintain practices appropriate to the sensitivity of your data.

8. Data Retention

We keep your account and server-hosted content while your account is active. The in-app account-deletion control removes your Supabase account records and profile avatar, then removes the account-scoped copy from the current iOS device or browser after remote deletion succeeds.

Web workspaces are stored only in each browser. When you log out, Orderly asks whether to remove that browser's account-scoped workspace or explicitly keep it on a trusted device; removing the local workspace cannot be undone. Deleting your account removes the current browser's account-scoped workspace, but copies previously saved in other browsers must be cleared in those browsers. Older unscoped browser data is preserved because Orderly cannot prove which account owns it.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can view account details and delete your account from Settings; contact us for requests that do not have an in-app control.

To exercise any other rights, or if you have trouble using the in-app controls, contact privacy@orderlytasks.com and we will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. International Users

Orderly is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. and in any other country where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page tells you when this policy was last updated.

12. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please email privacy@orderlytasks.com. For general support, support@orderlytasks.com is the fastest way to reach us.
